Ingredients:
- 4 to 6 medium size tilapia fillets
- 2 small sweet onions, sliced
- 1/2 stick butter
- 3 cloves fresh garlic crushed
- 1/8 tsp of Old Bay seasoning
- salt to taste
How to cook baked Tilapia with garlic butter:
1. Clean and rinse the fish fillets thoroughly.
2. Lightly smear a little butter into the bottom of your baking dish.
3. Place the fillets onto the baking dish.
4. Place garlic, Old Bay seasoning and butter into a saucepan and melt lightly.
5. Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the tilapia fillets.
6. Place onion slices over top of tilapia fillets.
7. Place the baking dish into a preheated oven set to 350 degrees.
8. Let it bake until done, which should be approximately 12 to 14 minutes.
Serve with some fresh steamed vegetables for a quick and easy meal. You can also squeeze a small amount of lemon juice onto your tilapia fillets to add some acidity.
